Raise The Standard

Isaiah 59:19 says,……. When the enemy shall come in like a
flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him…..
First we need to understand that if Jesus is truly Lord of our life
that when the enemy comes in waves we will be able to stand
our ground and defeat the enemy because Christ has raised up a
standard already and we need to realize that it is this standard
we are to uphold and live by daily.
When we begin to realize the standard we are to raise in our
lives we will see lives impacted because we have made up our
minds that we no longer will compromise and we will take a
stand in our homes, in our communities, and we will begin to
see a mighty outpouring and lives will be changed and delivered
if we will grab a hold of His truth and the only truth that last is the
word of the Lord which is written in our Bible and it is our
guidepost for living and we need to apply it to our lives and
situations. This truth it transforms a life into something
marvelous in the sight of the Lord.
As Christians we are to set the standard for living, it doesn’t
mean we go with the flo of things just because we want to be
well liked but we have to live the word and live right so we may
inspire others to come to know Jesus Christ, we will NOT inspire
anyone to know Christ if we continue to live the same lifestyle
as those were are trying to reach. We must be different and
stand out and sometimes others may feel uncomfortable but that’
s only because their compromise is being challenged. We are
not to hide sin but see to it that it is eradicated from our lives
and do all we can to help others rid it from theirs as well.
